Dakshinapatha Studies in Association with Andhra Mahila Sabha College of Teacher Education conducted a lecture on Rani Rudramadevi on 24 th April 2026. Dakshinapatha Studies is organising a series of lectures on ‘ Empowered Women in History ‘, as a part of this series this lecture is organised. Independent Researcher, Author and Editor Dr Binnuri Manohari, presented the audience about various Epigraphs in relation to Rani Rudramadevi and Discussed how important she was in those times. She re-iterated that in the History we find many queens who independently served the country. Many of them were ascended the throne out of chance. However Rani Rudrama could be the only queen in the ‘pages of History’ who was job trained and coronated to the throne. She ruled independently and held apt titles. If Epigraphs are observed it clearly indicate the same. In kolanupaka Epigraphs it was mentioned as “సర్వరాజన్య కీరీట రత్నాలతో నివాళులు అందుకనే పాదాలు” sarva rajanya kirita Ratna la tho nivaali andukune paadaalu ( all kings used to fall at her feet in respect)
Chaya someswara alayam Epigraph mentions her as
మహ మండలేశ్వర, సర్వరాయ మాహేశ్వర, మున్ను రాయ ( Maha Mandaleswara, Sarva Raya Maheswara, Munnu Raya) meaning king of vast lands, King of Kings, King of three lands.
These titles are rightfully earned by her.

Dr Manohari added that Rani Rudramadevis great strategic skill, her valor, her administrative capabilities, her fore sightedness all are next to none in history. She is the one who strengthened Warangal fort. Even at a ripe age of 80 she was in the battle field. Chandubhatla Epigraph is a witness. She served a longest time as Queen managing a vast empire. Undoubtedly she is the queen for the present generation to idealise. Particularly the girls should do more research on the achievements of Rani Rudrama Devi and understand how the BHARATHEEYA society accepted the empowered women. However Gen Z children in the conquest of gender dominance tend to forget the all inclusivity. It is not about who you are, it is about what job you are given and how you are fulfilling the role. If we learn any thing from history, the life story of Rani Rudrama is that one story which we should eulogize.
While addressing the students principal of the college Dr Krishnaveni, thanked Dakshinapatha Studies for organising such interesting lectures. She reiterated to the children that a proper research will be a useful tool for developing the subject.
Chandramouli Kalyanachakravarthy, Head Telengana Chapter, Dakshinapatha Studies addressed the students detailing the objectives and aims of Dakshinapatha Studies. He suggested to the students that they should have a 360 degree view of the subject under study. We tend to underplay the importance of interdisciplinary study of subjects. The academics if focused on one single subject then we may miss the all inclusive angle. The binary method of study yield to stubborn idealism, where as the Bharateeya tradition is to discuss, debate and ponder the 360 degree view of any subject.
The lecture concluded with an active question answer session with students.
